Jupiter has a varied collectiosn of reefs and wrecks.  Dives tend to be deeper than further south. You should be Nitrox and Advanced Open Water Certiied (or in a class) to best enjoy diving here.  Both are required on our trips to the area.

The fish life tends ot be larger while the reefs not as dense.

There are 4 "Seasons" to Jupiter diving

  • Shark Diving - January to March.  Lemon Sharks start the season and as they move out Black Tips migrate through.
  • Sea Turtle Season - March to September.  Turtles are seen all year as this area is one of the densest sea turtle nesting grounds.  But from March to Septemeber the numbers increase  making sightings even more likely.
  • Goliath Season - August to September.  Goliath Groupers comgregate in the area to spawn during Augutst and September.  Numbers up to 60 or more can be in the area.
  • Lobster Season - September to March is Florida Lobster Season.  Always predsent it is not unusal to see lobsters on every dive. But to collecct them you need a liscense and a permit.
