Wreck and Megalodon Trip
September 11 & 12
We’re headed to Charleston South Carolina for an interesting weekend. Join us for Wreck diving and hunting for Megalodon Teeth (and more)!
Saturday we are scheduled to go offshore for some great wreck diving. We expect to be diving sites about 2 hours off-shore. There you’ll get the better wrecks and sites due to the depth and conditions. Expect sharks, rays, turtles, and maybe even some dolphins. Since much of the area has a plain bottom, the wrecks tend to attract a lot of fish life.
Sunday we go to the other extreme, river diving for megalodon teeth and other artifacts. We’ve dove the Cooper river before with great success. We’ve not only brought back a lot of teeth we have also brought back musket balls, pottery, civile war relics, revolutionary war artifacts and more.
What you’ll need of the dives:
- SC Hobby License $10.00 (for collecting artifacts)

- Advanced Open Water certification with Deep Dive as one of the dives
- Full set of dive gear
- 2 tanks per day (nitrox recommended)
- Big screwdriver (in case there is current in the river)
- U/W Light
